When the cloud becomes full of water, it gives out the water in the form of rain, snow, or hail, which falls to the ground.
Some of water flows back into rivers, lakes or oceans, while some go into the ground and become ground water. In colder climates, water can freeze into ice.
When the sun heats up the water from the ground (like rivers, lakes, and oceans), it becomes water vapour(蒸汽) and rises up into the air.
As the water vapour cools, it turns back into tiny drops, forming a cloud in the sky.
Plants give out water vapour into the air through tiny openings in their leaves.

一、教学内容分析
本课时是功能部分和语音训练。Function部分为单元功能句的学习，从“听”的视角切入本单元“水资源保护”的主题，并结合语用知识的学习，开展听、读、说、写语言综合运用能力的训练。首先，学生观察图片，并谈论水的来源，然后了解水的循环过程。通过听读肖雅与妈妈的对话，完成一系列听力活动，深入了解水的来源、重要性以及保护水资源的原因，输入重点词汇和功能句。最后，学生围绕水资源的话题，在新的语境中创编对话，达到提高学生得体、恰当地与他人进行沟通和交流的能力。Pronunciation部分为语音训练，学习字母组合al,ar,wa,ch/tch,dge,gu,gh和字母g,t的发音规则，以及句子的升调与降调。首先，学生通过音频感知以上字母组合的发音；接着，通过跟读练习发音，归纳其发音规则，做到见词能读；最后，通过口头模仿，感知陈述句和疑问句中的不同语调，做到语调自然、顺畅，提升语音技能。
二、语篇分析

三、学情分析
水是学生日常生活中经常接触的东西，学生对水资源保护的话题也比较熟悉，但是学生在用语言描述水资源和水资源保护方面可能存在困难，需要教师的帮助，此外，在面对信息复杂的听力材料时，学生可能会抓不住关键信息，并且对一些音标的发音规则掌握不足，这需要教师通过教学活动一步步进行引导，帮助学生掌握听力技巧，熟悉语音现象，达成教学目标。
