Dear Chris,
I'm thrilled to tell you about a traditional handicraft workshop my class attended in school last
Sunday,where we explored the fascinating world of Chinese folk art.
During the session,I crafted a clay vase,which I carefully shaped with a solid base and
decorated with delicate patterns.It was my first time working with clay,and while my vase wasn't
flawless,I felt a profound sense of accomplishment in creating it from scratch.
This experience was truly enlightening.Not only did I gain new insights into Chinese
craftsmanship,but I also realized how much patience and precision such work demands.I'm looking
forward to exploring more creative projects in the future.

My daughter was waiting for my reply.I was secretly very worried.But my daughter kept begging
me and I could not bear to reject her.Bravery was the most significant quality that I wanted her to
possess.Her curiosity was so strong that I couldn't resist.I nodded slightly,and my daughter's
frowning face slowly broke into a smile.My response surprised my husband,who reacted with the
wildest excitement as we walked towards the Skyway.When I stepped on it,I found myself horrified
by the height.I grabbed the railing,almost unable to move.
Halfvay across the bridge,I had to stop.My heart beat wildly,casting scared glances down
the bridge.My husband and daughter held my hands tightly.I walked as though I were drunk.But
their firm gaze built up my confidence and we kept going together."Mom,look,it's so beautiful."
What I saw there filled my soul with joy.The bay spread out far below me.Beyond it stood the tall
and beautiful skyscrapers.I looked down at my little girl who taught her mother how to be brave,
and breathed a sigh of relief.
