【语法讲解】
（一）规则变化
1.直接加 -er /-est：单音节形容词，词尾直接加 。如 bright→brighter→brightest ，表示 “更明亮的 / 最明亮的” ，用于两者或多者间程度、特征比较 。
2.以 -e 结尾，加 -r /-st：如 large→larger→largest ，“更大的 / 最大的” ，变化简洁，描述事物大小等属性对比 。
3.以 “辅音 + y” 结尾，变 y 为 i，加 -er /-est：像 dry→drier→driest ，“更干燥的 / 最干燥的” ，y 变 i 后符合发音与拼写习惯，用于描述干燥程度差异 。
4.重读闭音节（辅元辅结构），双写最后辅音字母，加 -er /-est：例如 hot→hotter→hottest ，“更热的 / 最热的” ，双写辅音强化发音，突出热的程度变化 。
5.多音节形容词，加 more /the most：如 wonderful→more wonderful→the most wonderful ，“更美妙的 / 最美妙的” ，因音节多，用 more /most 辅助体现比较层级 。
（二）不规则变化
部分形容词比较级、最高级无规律，需特殊记忆 。如 far→farther /further→farthest /furthest ，“更远的 / 最远的” ，farther 侧重距离，further 还可表 “进一步的” 抽象含义 。
比较级用于两者对比，常搭配 “than”；最高级用于三者及以上比较，常搭配 “the” ，描述 “最……” 的特征 。
