【教学过程】
Step 1 Lead－in
1. Greet the class: Good morning/afternoon, everyone! How was your yesterday
2. Review: Review key vocabulary and expressions related to holiday experiences by asking students to share their activities.
Step 2 Work on 2a
1. Pre - listening: Read the conversation carefully and try to choose the correct sentences to complete it.
2. Play the conversation audio and check the answers together.
3. Ask the student to retell the content of the conversation.
Step 3 Work on 2b
1. Read the conversation silently and complete the table.
2. Check the answers. The answers are:

Peter Yunnan. / In the old town. Visited Yulong Mountain. / Took a lot of great photos. / Ate something special. Fantastic.
Adam At home. Read, play games, and relax. Fun.
Step 4 Work on 2c
1. Read the conversation silently again. Complete the summary of the conversation.
2. Check the answers together. The answers are: fantastic, family, town, enjoyed, visited, tasted, anything, fun.
3. Ask the students to pay attention to the correct forms of verbs in the simple past tense.
Step 5 Work on 2d
1. Listen to the conversation again. Ask students to role - play the conversation. Divide students into groups and assign roles.
2. Teacher chooses the best groups according to their accuracy, fluency, content, and give your evaluation before class.
Step 6 Work on 2e
1. Tick the words that describe your last summer holiday experience.
2. Read all of these words together. Teacher corrects their pronunciation.
Step 7 Work on 2f
1. Use the ticked words in 2d to talk about their favourite holiday experiences and share them with their partners. Pay attention to use the given structures.
2. Ask some students to share with the class.
Step 8 Summary
1. Summarize the key points of the lesson, emphasizing the importance of listening, note - taking, retelling.
2. Students showed significant improvement in using the simple past tense to describe past events.
Step 9 Homework
Practise reading the conversation in 2a.

Period 2 Section A(2a－2f)
本次课程以假期生活为主题，通过对话练习和任务活动培养学生的听说能力。整体教学效果良好：
1. 优势：
- 情景对话设计合理，学生能通过补全对话自然练习特殊疑问句和一般疑问句（如 “Did you go anywhere interesting ” 的问答掌握较好）。
- 表格填空任务帮助学生梳理关键信息，85%的学生能准确提取 Peter 去云南参观玉龙雪山 等细节。
- 角色扮演环节活跃，学生能模仿对话中的感叹句 “It just took my breath away”，情感表达较到位。
2. 存在问题：
- 部分学生在完成摘要填空时，对 “old town” 和 “steamed chicken soup” 等具体词汇记忆不牢，错误率较高。
- 分享环节中，基础薄弱学生仅能使用简单形容词（great/good），缺乏 “fantastic”“amazing” 等丰富表达。
3. 改进措施：
