speech 通常用作可数名词,复数是speeches,表示正式的演讲或发言。

(2)argue v. 争论;争吵(教材P73)
argue 用作动词,意为“争论;争吵”,常用作不及物动词,后接介词再接名词或代词作宾语。
常用搭配
(1)argue with sb. (about sth.)(就某事)和某人争吵

argue 的名词形式是argument,常构成短语have an argument with sb.,相当于argue with sb.

(8)worry about 为······担心(教材P74)
worry about 是一个动词短语,相当于一个及物动词词组,后面接名词或代词作宾语,表达对某事物或某人的担忧或忧虑。
about 是介词,如果其后出现动词,那么要使用动名词形式。
worry about 的同义词组是be anxious about... “对······感到焦虑”,be 动词要根据时态和主语变化形式。
老年人总是为他们的健康感到焦虑。
