用法总结　cost既可以作动词也可以作名词,作动词时,意为“需付费;价钱为”;作名词时,意为“费用;花费;价钱”。例如:
The book costs 10 dollars. 那本书要10美元。
the cost of housing 住宅费用
cost作动词时,和它具有类似意思的词还有spend和pay。spend 通常与介词on连用,pay通常与介词for连用。例如:
We spend 10 dollars on the book. 我们花10美元买这本书。
He needs to pay 50 yuan for this watch. 他需要花50元来买这块表。
注意:cost的主语为物,spend和pay的主语为人。
