Most people collect stamps or coins, but my hobby is collecting chocolate wrappers. My collection now has over 120 wrappers from 15 countries, and each one is special to me.
I started this unusual hobby by accident. When I was 9, my aunt brought me a box of chocolate from France. The wrapper had a pretty Eiffel Tower pattern—I didn’t want to throw it away, so I kept it in a notebook. Later, I noticed chocolate wrappers from different places have different designs: some have cartoon characters, some show local scenery, and others have interesting sentences. I began asking my family and friends to save wrappers for me when they eat chocolate.
My favourite wrapper is from Japan—it has a picture of cherry blossoms and the sentence “Happiness is like chocolate, sweet and warm”. Every time I look at my collection, I think of the happy moments: my dad bringing me a wrapper from his business trip, my friend sharing her wrapper from her birthday chocolate.
Collecting chocolate wrappers isn’t expensive, but it’s full of fun. It teaches me to find beauty in small things and helps me remember precious memories. I’ll keep adding new wrappers to my collection!

My Grandpa’s Stamp Collection
My grandpa collects stamps, and his collection has over 2,000 stamps from more than 30 countries. It’s like a small “world book” at home.
Last Sunday, he showed me a special stamp with the Great Wall. He told me he bought it in 1980 when he was young. He saved his pocket money for a month just to get it! He also taught me to put stamps in a special album and wear gloves to protect them—he said each stamp is a piece of history.
This collection means a lot to my grandpa. It helps him remember his young days and learn about foreign cultures. For me, it’s a chance to share happy time with him. I hope to keep his collection one day!
