With a history of over 600 years, Tai Shan Shadow Puppetry in Tai'an, Shandong is famous for being performed by just one person. The performer holds the puppets, sings the lines, and plays nearly 10 musical instruments all by himself. This special skill is called “shibuxian”(do more than ten things at once).
