A research team from China has invented a six-legged guide robot. “We believe our robot will work as a pair of eyes for blind people,” said Professor Gao Feng.
According to a study, there are around 17.31 million blind people in China. However,because of high training cost and long training periods, there are only over 400 guide dogs in service, which means only one guide dog is available(可用的) for every 40,000 blind people inChina.

Chinese runner Su Bingtian made history at the Tokyo 2020 Games on Sunday. He became the first Asian athlete to appear in the men's 100m final at an Olympics, setting a newAsian record on the way.
At the National Olympic Stadium, Su made a new Asian record of 9.83 seconds in the semifinals(半决赛). He was one of the nine fastest men in the world.“I never thought I can reach the final of the Olympics, but now I' ve done it. I still can't believe it happened.” Su said after the match.
