Learning objectives
In this lesson, students will be able to:
Master and use new words and phrases related to cooking and housework, such as “sweep the floor” “prepare dinner” “wash” and “chop” etc.
Through listening to the conversations about helping with housework and cooking, students can improve their listening comprehension skills, especially in catching key information and details.
Express their daily housework and cooking-related intentions and tasks in English, enhancing their speaking ability, which is an important part of language-use ability in the new curriculum.

Bill: I have to leave now. My mum and I are going to sweep the floor.

Danny:Really I’m going to watch cartoons. Bye!
After watching one of his favourite cartoons for a few minutes, Danny goes to the kitchen.
Mrs Dino: Hi, Danny. What brings you here
Danny: Well... Can I help you with dinner
Mrs Dino: Wow, sure! I’d love some help. You can wash the corn, green beans, cucumbers and onions. Then chop them.
Danny: Okay! That sounds easy!
Mrs Dino: Just be careful with the knife.
Danny: Of course, I will.

用法：
表示 “与…… 一起来”
1. sb. + come with + sb.
2. sb. + come with + 交通工具（表示乘坐某种交通工具来）
例句：
My best friend will come with me to the concert.
（我最好的朋友将和我一起去音乐会。）
They came with the school bus.（他们是坐校车来的。）
4. Can I help you with dinner
“help” 表示 “帮助”，“with” 是介词，“help with” 后接名词、代词或动名词形式，表示 “在……方面帮忙，帮助做……” 。

例句：
Can you help with the cleaning （你能帮忙打扫一下吗？）
She always helps her friend with his maths homework.
（她总是帮助她的朋友辅导数学作业。）
“how to cook” 是 “如何烹饪；怎样做饭” 的意思，它在句子中可以作多种成分
