① 表示已经计划好或打算要做的某件事情。通常带有主观意愿,表示说话人已经做出了决定。意为“计划;打算;准备”等。
e.g. She is going to work hard next term.下学期她打算努力学习。
②表示主语根据当前的情况或迹象做出的推测,常用于“I’m sure、I’m afraid 或I think” 等后面。通常不带有主观意愿,而是基于客观事实或经验的推断。
e.g. Loo at the dark clouds, I’m afraid it ______________. Take an umbrella with you.看那些乌云,恐怕快要下雨了。你随身带把雨伞。

③ be going to 常与表示将来的时间状语连用,如 this evening、tomorrow、the day after tomorrow(后天)、in + 一段时间、next week/month/year、soon、 in the future、one day、tonight等;也可与when引导的时间状语从句连用。
e.g. She ___________________ TV this evening.她打算今天晚上看电视。

特别提醒:当be going to后为“go to+地点名词”时,常常省略后面的“go to”,直接写为“be going to+地点名词”。

在某些情况下,be going to 结构可以表示某个动作即将发生,这种用法通常与表示位置移动的动词连用,如come、go、leave 等。

使用 be going to结构时要注意的问题
Eric is going to cook stir-fried eggs and tomatoes.埃里克打算做西红柿炒鸡蛋。
We’re going to study at a university. 我们打算在大学里学习。
2. 表示客观必然会发生的事情时,不用be going to结构。
Today is Saturday, and tomorrow is Sunday.今天是星期六,明天是星期日。
1. be动词随主语的人称和数的变化而变化。
3.be going to后一般不接go,come,leave,arrive等表示位置移动的词,这类动词通常用现在进行时表示将来。
She is leaving for Shanghai. 她将动身前往上海。
