As is known to all(众所周知), there are many traditional festivals in China. I like the Spring Festival best. It is one of the most important Chinese traditional festivals.
It always takes place on the first day of the first lunar month. It is a time for family members to get together. Before the festival, we always buy lots of food and clean our house to sweep away the bad luck. Then, we decorate(装饰) the room with red lanterns and the couplets. Because they stand for good luck. On the eve of the Spring Festival(在春节前夕), we have a big meal with all family. There is so much delicious food, such as rice cakes, dumplings and so on.They all have different meanings. After dinner, we usually watch the Spring Festival Gala on TV. What’s more, it’s a must to set off fireworks to welcome a new year during the festival. The most interesting thing is visiting relatives. Children can get lucky money from the elders.
The Spring Festival can not only make us feel love and happiness, but also let us understand the importance of family. I enjoy the festival a lot because it’s very fun and meaningful(有意义的).
