M:Yes,certainly.Well,we are a sort of social club for people from dillerent countrics.It's
quite a new club-we have abyout 30 members at the moment,but we are growing all the

W:That sounds interesting.I'm British aclually,and I came Lo Washington about.Lhree
months ago.T'm looking for ways to meet people.Er,what kinds of events do you organize
M:Well,we have social get togcthers,and sports cvents.and we also have language
everngs.
W:Could you tell me something about the language cvenings
M:Yes.Every day except Thursday we have a langnage evening.People can come and
practice their languages you know.over a drink or something.We have different
languages on cifferent evenings.Monday-Spanish;Tuesday-ltalian;Wednescay-
German;and Friday French.On Thursdlay we usually have a mneal in a restaurant for
anyone who wants to comc.
W:Well,that sounds great.T really need to practice my French.
M:()K.Well,if you can just give me your name and address,1'll send you the form and some
more informalion.If you join now.you can have the firs month free.
