Zou Minglei, a 36 - year - old dessert artist from Wuhan, Hubei Province, creates lifelike copies of famous museum artifacts out of cake and chocolate. Her creations have got widespread attention online.
Zou began to show interest in artifacts during her university years when she often visited museums. In 2018, she decided to turn those historical treasures into edible (可食用的)art. That year, she entered the Cake International Competition in the UK and won a silver medal for her cake copy of the Zeng Houyi Chime Bells, a famous set of bronze bells from the Warring States Period. In Caracas, Venezuela (委内瑞拉), there is a special hospital. Its patients are not people but soft toys. Every year, a large number of dolls are brought to the so - called Hospital for Soft Toys. Here, volunteers carefully repair and clean them before they are donated to others.
A teacher named Lilian Gluck came up with the idea for this toy hospital. In 2017, she faced a dilemma: what should she do with her children's old toys Should she throw them away or let them fall apart Neither seemed like a good choice. Once upon a time, there was an honest young man named Hans. He lived in a small house alone, and every day he worked in his garden. In all the countryside there was no garden so lovely as his.
Hans had many friends, but the most devoted ( 忠实的) friend was the Miller. Certainly, he was so devoted to Hans that he always picked some flowers or filled his pockets with fruit when he passed Hans's garden.
