“Look in my eyes. Tell me why.” Have you found yourself listening to “ancient people” online recently
Creative vloggers (视频博主) are using AI technology to bring famous people from history like Tang Dynasty poets Li Bai and Du Fu “back to life”. These videos have become popular, showing these ancient icons (代表人物) speaking in modern language.
In one video, Du Fu talks about his experience during the An-Shi Rebellion (755-763). In another, Ming Dynasty medical expert Li Shizhen laugh at modern lifestyles, like trying to be healthy by drinking goji berry (枸杞) water but still staying up late.
“The videos make me want to learn more about important ancient people. I didn’t know much about their stories before,” said Wang Jiayi, 15, from Shandong.
The new trend (趋势) isn’t for everyone, however. The way these ancient people speak, in high tones and always asking questions, annoys some people. “They’re too pushy (压迫感的), which is different from how they really were,” said 14-year-old Wang Shuotong from Jiangsu.
Xia Boen, 14, from Hubei, felt the same. But he was surprised to find that he “remembered almost everything they said about their experiences and achievements”, thanks to the speaking style in the videos.
These videos use a more modern way to let ancient people “speak for themselves”. However, “we should be careful with these videos, making sure they are not sharing fake information,” noted Nanfang Daily.
According to Paragraph 2, what do the ancient icons do in the creative videos
A.They speak in a modern way.
B. They write poems in modern styles.
C. They chat with popular vloggers about AI.
D. They show people's lives in the Tang Dynasty.
42. What is Xia Boen’s opinion of the videos
A. He enjoyed watching them and found them fun.
B. He was surprised by the ancient people's achievements.
C. He preferred traditional textbooks to these videos.
D. He disliked how they spoke but remembered what they said.
43. We can infer from the passage that ______.
A. All people like the AI videos about ancient icons
B. The AI videos help some teenagers remember historical information better
C. Li Shizhen strongly supported modern people's lifestyle in the video
D. Ancient people in the videos all speak in low and soft tones
44. Which of the following is mentioned in the passage
A. Li Bai talked about his experience during the An - Shi Rebellion.
B. Wang Jiayi knew a lot about ancient people before watching the videos.
C. Nanfang Daily reminded people to watch out for fake information in the videos.
D. Wang Shuotong thought the speaking style of ancient people in the videos was perfect.
45. What is the purpose of the writer in writing this passage
A.To advise creators to make more videos about Li Shizhen.
B. To encourage readers to learn more about the An - Shi Rebellion.
C. To introduce a new trend of using AI to show ancient people in modern ways.
D. To explain why goji berry water is popular among young people.
C
As we all know, fish often swim silently in the water. However, recent research by Aaron Rice, a scientist at the Cornell Lab of Ornithology, has shown that fish can talk. Rice and his team discovered that many fish use acoustic communication. It means that they use sounds to communicate with others, just like we use our voices to talk with each other.
Rice’s research has shown that fish have their own language and can communicate with each other in many different ways. This communication is important to fish because it helps them share important information and fish use different sounds for different reasons. Some fish use sounds to warn of danger—if a fish senses danger, it can warn other fish by making a special sound. They can also use a different sound to find other fish of their kind.
Rice’s team found some other interesting things. For example, one kind of fish can make a loud sound by using some parts of their body around their swim bladders (鱼鳔), which is an important part of the fish that can help them stay on the surface of water freely. Another kind of fish that Rice studied can use their swim bladders to make a sound that is similar to a human voice. Some scientists think that they can make that sound by rubbing (摩擦) their swim bladders together.
Now, thanks to Rice’s research, we understand more about fish and their amazing communication abilities. It also makes us think about the question: Is there something else or some more secrets about fish that we don’t know about Questions are here and there but human beings will certainly find answers to all these questions in the near future.
46.What does the underlined phrase “acoustic communication” probably mean in Paragraph 1
A.Ways to warn. B.Information to talk.
C.Sounds to communicate. D.Questions to ask.
47.From Rice’s research, we know fish use different sounds to ________.
①find answers ②warn of danger
③stay on the surface of water ④find other fish of their kind
A.①② B.①③ C.③④ D.②④
48.How does the writer support his opinion in Paragraph 3
A.By listing numbers. B.By giving examples.
C.By comparing facts. D.By asking questions.
49.Which is the right structure of the passage (①= Paragraph 1 ②= Paragraph 2...)
A. B. C. D.
50.What is the best title for the passage
A.A Different Sound B.An Amazing Scientist
C.A Useful Invention D.An Interesting Discovery

Have you ever imagined the life in space The following will show you the astronauts’ daily life.
●Eating in space
Astronauts have special food. Preparation changes with the food type. Some foods can be eaten in their natural forms, such as chocolate cakes and fruits. 51 Of course, an oven is provided at the space station to heat the food. But there are no fridges, so space food must be kept properly.
●Sleeping in space
After a long day at work, nothing is better than a good night’s sleep! 52 Then they get up and prepare for work again. When going to sleep, they have to attach themselves, so they don’t float (漂浮) around or hit their bodies against something. They usually use sleeping bags in small crew cabins (乘员舱). 53 Generally, astronauts have an eight-hour sleep each day when they finish their work.
●Doing sports in space
Exercise is an important part of every astronaut’s daily life to prevent muscle atrophy (肌肉萎缩). 54 Lifting 200 pounds on the earth may be a lot of work. But lifting that same object in space would be much easier. That means the things for exercise used to be specially designed (设计) so astronauts can receive the exercise needed.
55 Astronauts have fun, too. They like to look out of the window and play with their food. Fun plays an important role in their daily life.
三、短文填空(共10小题,每小题1分,满分10分)
阅读短文,从方框中选出恰当的单词并用其适当形式填空,使短文通顺、意义完整。每空仅填一词,每词仅用一次。
Did ancient people plant trees They didn’t have a special day to plant trees like Tree Planting Day, 56 the tradition of planting trees has been there for a long time. Back then, it was always rainy around the Qingming Festival in spring. The trees 57 were planted around this time had 58 conditions to grow than usual, so people formed the custom of planting trees around the Qingming Festival.
There were many kinds of trees. However, mulberry trees (桑树) and fruit trees were the most popular of all. To feed the silkworms (蚕), more mulberry leaves were 59 . Silk came from the silkworms, and then was made into silk clothes and traded between the east and the west of the world. Among the ancient people who suggested 60 trees to offer food and clothes, there was a man whose name is well-known, Mencius (孟子).
Dong Feng, a famous doctor in the Three Kingdom Period (三国时期), saved many 61
lives for free. He only asked 62 to plant apricot trees (杏树) on a hill. Gradually, a forest of apricot trees grew on the hill. That’s why we now praise a doctor who has excellent skills with the words “warmth in an apricot forest.”
Each dynasty has 63 tree planting projects. Li Shimin, Emperor Taizong of the Tang Dynasty personally planted a ginkgo tree (银杏树) in a temple in Chang’an. 1,400 years later, the ginkgo tree is still growing. So far, the temple has 64 a popular place for tourists.

第一节:任务型阅读。(共5小题,每小题2分,满分10分)

Have you noticed that something around us is changing with the development of the society (社会)
People used to go to stores to buy what they want. As society develops rapidly, we began to shop online. However, in recent years, group buying has become very popular. Several online buyers work together and buy a kind of product for a much lower price per person. The activity takes place mainly on Internet platforms (平台). It greatly changes people’s traditional way of shopping.
Since the development of group buying is based on social networks, the cost is cut down. There is no middleman and the price is more reasonable. The group leader serves as a bridge between the buying platform and buyers.
In the past, most people didn’t know much about their neighbors, especially in cities. However, group buying has brought them closer to each other. People begin to have discussions about the quality and price of products. In this way, they have developed a close relationship with others.
As the number of group buying buyers is likely to rise in the following years, there may be some changes in the group buying business. Perhaps different platforms will come in the market (市场). Actually, it is difficult for a platform or brand(品牌) to cover the whole group buying market in China because customers (顾客) are always changing their likes.
