根据“When you’re in a rush and need a quick response, making a phone call is a great choice..”
根据“Video calls have grown more and more popular. They let you see the other person’s facial expressions and body language during the conversation.”
根据“Face-to-face communication is the most traditional and the most powerful. It gives you the opportunity to have in-depth conversations,...”
根据“In modern society, people have a wide range of ways to communicate with one another.”
1. argued(解析:前文“was confused”提示用一般过去时,argue的过去式为argued,描述“过去常和朋友争吵”)
2. make(解析:“the way to do sth.”
5. in(解析:“in person”是固定短语,意为“亲自”,对应“不能亲自见面就打电话”的建议)
7. words(解析:word作“话语”讲时为可数名词,用复数words表示“说话不小心”,贴合“话语可能让事情变糟”的逻辑)
9. will help(解析:if条件句遵循“主将从现”,主句用一般将来时will help,说明“保持镇静并道歉会有帮助”)
