★ Pawpaw and tremella sweet soup with lotus seeds (莲子) is a traditional dish from Guangdong Province. Once upon a time, there was a large, lovely garden. Its grass was soft and green. Its trees were filled with singing birds. Every afternoon, children would play in the garden after school.
One day the children were playing in the garden. Suddenly, a giant showed up and cried in a loud voice. “This is my garden! You must leave at once!” The children ran away and dared not (不敢) come back.
The next day, the giant built a high wall around his garden and put a notice on a board: TRESPASSERS WILL BE DRIVEN AWAY! The poor children no longer had a place to play.
Summer turned to fall and fall turned to winter. When spring came, flowers came out and the birds began to sing across the land. But in the giant’s garden, it was still winter. The green grass was covered with snow, and the cold winds kept the birds away. He felt sad as he looked at his frozen, white garden.
One morning the giant heard lovely music coming through the window. He looked outside and saw a wonderful sight. Birds were flying about and singing, and flowers were peeking (偷看) up through the green grass. The trees were waving their arms softly in the warm wind. Children were sitting in the branches of the trees and more children were moving on their hands and knees through a hole in the wall. When seeing all these things, the giant’s heart started melting. “How selfish I have been!” he said. “Now I know why spring would not come here!”
When the children saw the giant, they were so afraid that they all ran away, and the garden turned to winter again. But one little boy did not run because he did not see the giant coming. He was trying to reach up to the spreading branches of a tree. The giant took him gently in his hand, and put him up into the tree. At once the tree broke out in blossom. The birds came and sang in it. The little boy stretched (伸出) out his arms, put them around the giant’s neck and kissed him.
When the other children saw the giant was no longer that horrible, they came running back. Along with them came the spring. “It is your garden now, little children,” said the giant as he took his great axe and knocked down the wall. Ever since then, the giant’s garden has been a children’s playground.

B: .
78.A:

76.Could you please take out the rubbish 77.Because they have the most beautiful wings 78.Who sings louder 79.I bought a scarf for my mother 80.The cheetah runs fastest
I will do it at once.” 这是主谓宾结构的一般疑问句,“Could you please do sth.” Could you please take out the rubbish。
Because they have the most beautiful wings。
故填Who sings louder。
79.根据图片和“Did you buy anything special for your mother ” 可知,本句应表达为“我给我妈妈买了一条围巾”。 I bought a scarf for my mother。
80.根据图片和“What’s amazing about the cheetah ”可知,本句可表达为“猎豹跑得最快”。 故填The cheetah runs fastest。

Family Memories
Hi, everyone. I am very happy to share a heartwarming memory. Last Mid-Autumn Festival, my whole family gathered on our balcony to admire the full moon. My grandmother told the legend of Chang’e, while my father played the guitar softly. My younger brother and I helped mother arrange mooncakes and fruits on the table. The silver moonlight mixed with the golden lantern light created a magical atmosphere.
This memory includes my parents, grandmother, brother and me. Though simple, it taught me that family bonding is life’s sweetest gift. The shared laughter and stories under the moonlight will forever warm my heart.
