I.语言点精讲
1:It’s so wonderful to watch you grow up.
watch sb. do sth. 用法解析
核心含义:表示看到某人做某事的整个过程,强调动作的完整性、持续性,或者是经常性、习惯性的动作。
1. 结构拆解
watch:感官动词,意为 “观看、注视”,常见的同类感官动词还有 see, hear, notice, observe 等,它们都可以接 “宾语 + 不带 to 的不定式” 结构。
sb.:宾语(通常是人或动物)。
do sth.:不带 to 的不定式作宾语补足语,强调动作的全过程。
例句拓展(结合原句)
原句:It’s so wonderful to watch you grow up.
翻译:看着你长大,真是太美好了。

(4)插入程度副词
可以在第一个 as 前加 almost/nearly/just/exactly 等词,细化比较的程度。

3.Always remember that if you fall, I'll pick you up.
pick sb. up 在这里表示 “扶起某人;把摔倒的人扶起来”,是短语动词的及物用法,宾语(sb.)可以放在短语中间或后面。
