how often 多久一次 提问频率
how long 多长时间；多长 通常提问一段时间或物体的长度
how soon 多久以后 通常提问“in＋ 一段时间”

exercise [动词] 锻炼；运用
指为了健康或保持精力而进行的身体活动；也指运用权力或进行某种操作。
You should exercise more so as to keep energetic.
你应当多锻炼以保持精力充沛。

2. hardly ever 几乎从不
表示频率。其中 ever 为副词，意为“在任何时候；从来；曾经”，起强调作用。
She lives in Spain，so we hardly ever (＝ almost never) see her.
她住在西班牙，所以我们几乎见不到她。
hardly / hɑ dli/ [副词] 几乎不；几乎没有
表示否定含义，位于 be 动词、助动词或情态动词之后，行为动词之前
He hardly works. 他几乎不工作。
[辨析] hardly 与 hard
hardly 副词 “几乎不；几乎没有”表示否定的意思
hard 形容词 坚硬的；努力的；困难的
副词 努力地；猛烈地
[注意] hardly 不是 hard 的副词形式。
3. once or twice at weekends 周末一到两次
once /wans/ [副词]
① 次；回。表示动作发生的次数。
I see them about once a week. 我大约一星期见他们一次。
②曾经
Once we lived in London. 我们曾经住在伦敦。
[拓展] once [连词]一旦；一······就
用来引导时间状语从句，当once 作“······就”讲时，相当于 as soon as 。

3. once or twice at weekends 周末一到两次
twice /twa s/ [副词] 两次；两倍
“次数”表达法：一次 once；两次 twice；三次或三次以上为“基数词＋times”。
three times 三次
four times 四次

play [动词] 打；踢；演奏
后接球类或棋类名词时，球类或棋类名词前不用冠词。
常见短语：play football 踢足球
