(2)用于询问某人哪里不舒服,意为“ (……)怎么了 ”或“ (……)哪里不舒服 ”。

(3) 用于询问某物出了什么毛病或故障,意为“ (……)出什么毛病了 ”。

此处suffer作动词,意为 “受苦,遭受”。
(4) ①Avoid soft drinks for now as the gas could make the ache worse. 暂时避免喝软饮料,因为气体可能会使疼痛加剧。
