第四讲 完形填空之熟词生义题——脱离语境,难猜词汇含义
高考常考课标内熟词的生义(即考生熟悉词汇的不常用义,如引申义、专业义等),考查考生在特定语境中理解这类词义的能力。考生因对生义不熟悉而意外失分的情况常见,解题关键在于结合语境,而非仅凭常见词义猜测。
1.摒弃“第一反应”,回归文本:遇到熟悉的单词,看到选项里有它的常见意思时,不要高兴太早! 立刻提醒自己:这很可能是陷阱。强迫自己清空对该词常见义的记忆(暂时搁置),将注意力完全集中到空格所在的句子和上下文。
2.精读“金三角”区域:
(1)句子本身: 分析句子结构(主谓宾定状补),确定空格成分。注意空格前后的关键词,尤其是动词、介词、形容词。它们往往决定了其与被考查词的逻辑关系和搭配。
(2)前一句: 空格前的句子通常提供了事件发生的背景、原因或铺垫。
(3)后一句: 空格后的句子常常是对结果的说明、进一步的解释或转折。
仔细阅读这个“金三角”区域,寻找能定义、解释空格处单词或与空格处单词有同义、反义、因果、转折等关系的线索词和逻辑信号词。
3.寻找语境中的“路标”:

(2)同义/重复线索;
(3)反义/对比线索;
(4)因果线索;
(5)例子线索;
(6)搭配线索;
(7)情感/态度线索。
