1．辨析take，pay 与spend
take常用it做形式主语，意为 “花费”；spend的主语一般是“人”而不是“物”，意为 “花费；度过”；pay表示“付款”，主语是“人”。

(2)主语(人)＋spend(各种时态)＋…＋(in) doing sth/ on sth；

2．辨析surprised与surprising
这两个词都是形容词。
(1)surprised惊奇的；惊讶的。可用来作表语或定语，常用来描述人的感受。类似的形容词还有excited，tired，worried等。

3．look for寻找
