New Chinese cartoon film Ne Zha broke the opening day record for a Chinese cartoon film with 137 million yuan . Ne Zha , a fighter in Chinese culture , is often described as a young hero standing on two wheels burning with fire. Yet the figure (人物)in the new film is quite different.
Take the film in 1979 called Prince Ne Zha Triumph against the Dragon King for example. Ne Zha in the 1979 movie is good-looking and is ready to help others. Yet in the new film , the character has gaps in his teeth, dark circles under his eyes and instead of standing for selflessness, he messes around and causes trouble.
The character has been a hit within people. The film has a score of 8.7 out 10 on a rating site, making it the highest-scored film of the past thirty years.
In the film , Ne Zha was meant to be born a god, but instead is reincarnated (转世) as a demon(恶魔) by mistake. From the very day he is born, people live in fear of the child and asked his father to kill him to prevent him from causing disasters. Fortunately , his parents choose to protect him.
Unlike other works about Ne Zha , his parents love and protect him in the new film . This may be another reason why the film has caught the hearts of people. Mr. and Mrs. March lived together with their four daughters. Amy was very shy. Beth loved being at home. Meg looked very pretty. Jo was tall and thin and she was a tomboy.. Their home was always busy and full of noise and people. Next to them lived old Mr. Laurence and his grandson, Laurie. They lived in a very large and comfortable house. But it was a house without life.

Joining a short-term research program in China has not only allowed Pakistani agricultural scientist Sayyar Khan to push forward with his academic studies, but also given him a chance to see a country he had heard so much about.
Khan is now doing a one-year research program at the Beijing Academy of Agriculture and Forestry Sciences. The program is sponsored by the Chinese Ministry of Science and Technology and many young talented scientists who come from collaborating countries, such as Pakistan, are given opportunities to work in China.
Although this is his first visit to China Khan says he is well-informed of the long friendship between China and Pakistan. He is impressed most by the cooperation (合作) in education between China and Pakistan. especially since the start-up of the Belt and Road Initiative (“一带一路”建设) in 2013.
“Many students from my university and my city have visited China and completed their higher education here. ” he says, adding that he has met with many of them.
“I hear news about China on television and read about it in print media, so I know of the rapid development of China in recent decades. ”
Khan says the Belt and Road Initiative will have a very positive effect on the world.
“I hope that I can stay in China to participate in such cooperation projects. ” he says. Khan says life in Beijing is much easier than he’d expected, thanks to the convenient（便利的）public transportation and restaurants offering food for Muslims（穆斯林）. This encouraged him to bring his family to live with him a couple of months ago.

I am a Chinese boy named Li Ping. I am in grade 9 now. I am happy to be your penfriend. It’s my pleasure to introduce something to you.
First of all, I am a boy of medium height . I am good at all my subjects and I am often praised by teachers and parents.
Moreover, I am glad to tell you great changes in my hometown. The roads are wide and clean with many green trees around them. To everyone’s joy, pollution has been greatly reduced since new types of energy was widely used.
Another thing I want to tell you is my reading plan. During my summer holiday, I plan to read two books. One is about Chinese manners, because more and more western people show interest in Chinese culture. The other one is about Chinese scientist—Yuan Longping because he devotes most of his time to the research and development of better rice. He is my hero and is the pride of our country.
Last but not least, I hope to be a volunteer in North-West China, I think it is meaningful to help the local people improve their lives.
